Making Informed Decisions and Problem Solving

I love solving a good problem, which is probably why I enjoy doing the sunday morning crossword so much! Since all of my strengths are  focused on relationship building, with my last strength being strategic, I love to tackle a problem head on and find the root cause. Because problems often arise within a team, it can cause tension or rifts within the team. I am all about positivity and making sure everyone is enjoying themselves and working together harmoniously.

Being in the LEAD Office taught me that different people have different ways of solving a problem. Not everyone wants to face the problem head on, and that was one of the hardest things to come to terms with. Further, because I am an orange/blue mixture, I have both impulsive but harmonious tendencies. On one hand, I live life with zest, on the other hand I sometimes worry how those around me are feeling; and if they are as happy as I am.

I often tend to come off as blunt and logical when it comes to problem solving, without taking all sides into consideration. However, working with the LEAD team has helped me develop those feelings and empathize more when it comes to problem solving. I now think about everyone involved and am not as impulsive with decisions as I was before.
