Developing Others
Developing the self is something that I strive for everyday. However, I am also motivated by the impact I have on others, and sharing things that I have learned. Developing others is a selfless act of service that requires time and attention.
In my role as a leader at Victoria’s Secret, I engage with the competency of developing others on a daily basis. It is my job to help those on my team grow in their competencies, just as I am growing in mine. It makes the experience better when we are able to grow together, and that to me makes a good leader.
Combining my roles as a Leadership Consultant and a manager at Victoria’s Secret, has helped me see how congruent leadership is. I often use principles that I have learned at the LEAD Office in my leadership role at Victoria’s Secret.
